First “Udaan Yatri Cafe” launched at Kolkata Airport – offering water, tea, and snacks at fair prices.

AAP MP Raghav Chadha’s efforts to make airport food affordable for all travelers continue to bear fruit. After successfully advocating for reasonable priced food and beverages at airports, the “Udaan Yatri Cafe” initiative has now expanded from Kolkata to Chennai Airport.
MP Chadha had raised the issue of exorbitant food and beverage prices at airports during the winter session of Parliament, urging the government to take action. This led to the launch of “Udaan Yatri Cafe”—a dedicated initiative to provide travelers with budget-friendly options. MP Chadha expressed his happiness over this development, calling it a step towards ensuring fairness for passengers.
“A small spark can light up the darkest skies,” he wrote on X, celebrating the expansion of affordable food canteens.Reflecting on his demand in Parliament, Chadha had criticized the unjustified pricing at airports, stating:
“A water bottle costs 100, and tea is priced at 200-250. Can’t the government establish affordable canteens at airports?”
